What's new in the spreadsheet / dashboard?
The Spreadsheets application has introduced a number of exciting new features:
- Pivot tables: A new type of pivot table allows you to calculate a wide range of values using a single formula, adjusting it according to the style selected
- New pivot table layouts: Users can now choose from several new layouts for their pivot tables, offering more customisation options.
- Improved pivot table properties: Pivot table properties have been extended, including new sort granularities and the ability to filter dates by month. These ‘mix and match’ options offer greater flexibility when analysing data.
- Custom measures: You can now create custom measures, i.e. new columns with specific functions. The layout automatically adapts to these new columns, making it easier to manage complex data.
- Trend line functionality: A new trend line option lets you add trend analysis to previous data. Several types of trendlines are available, such as logarithmic and binomial, to suit different types of data
These updates provide powerful tools for better data visualisation and analysis, making it easier for users to work with pivot tables and spot trends.
What's new in the presence application?
The attendance management application has introduced a number of new features to enhance the user experience:
- Improved welcome: The application now includes a new welcome process that provides a clearer explanation to new users, making it easier for them to get started.
- Employee work schedule overview: You can now display a complete calendar showing when employees are scheduled to work, enabling managers to better monitor attendance patterns.
- Validation of overtime : A new feature allows managers to validate overtime worked. This can be done in two ways.
- Quick approval: Click directly on the overtime to approve it in full or in part.
- Management menu: Access the management menu, filter pending approvals and approve them en bloc for faster processing.
- Automatic employee check-in: The application now supports automatic check-in of employees who work, for example, more than two hours' overtime. This feature makes it possible to manage situations where employees forget to clock in. Check-in actions will also be visible in the application chat for better monitoring and communication.
These updates are designed to streamline attendance management, making it more intuitive and efficient for managers and employees alike.
