The problem

DNP Concept specialises in general electricity and the installation of photovoltaic panels. Growing rapidly, the company increasingly felt the need to centralise all its information and digitise its data to improve internal communication. What's more, its management software was reaching the end of its useful life and could not be renewed, forcing the company to revert to paper and Excel-based management until it could switch to a new system.

It was against this backdrop that Camille, a management assistant at DNP Concept, began canvassing for Odoo to be integrated into the company. Camille, who was already familiar with the software, had wanted to implement it for a long time, but at the time Odoo had not yet released version 16 and its new pricing model. However, when the company decided to switch to Odoo in the summer of 2023, the updated offering was much more attractive to the SME, and it was then that Camille discovered Nalios through a post on social media.

After a few discussions with a sales representative and a demonstration of Odoo, DNP Concept was able to embark on the implementation project in collaboration with Nalios.

    An optimised solution

To support the digital transition of the SME based near Marche-en-Famenne, Nalios took over the project in July 2023 and quickly launched the initial implementation phases, given the urgent need for new management software. Before embarking on the various phases, it was necessary to centralise all the information from the various management tools used by DNP Concept up to that point in order to get off to a good start.

Implementation in several phases

Once this stage had been completed, implementation could begin. Nalios chose to move forward in phases so that it could first implement the applications that were essential for managing the business.

In September 2023, just two months after Camille's first contact with Nalios, phase 1 was completed. The CRM, Sales, Planning, Project, Field Service, Inventory and Timesheet applications were now usable by everyone in the company.

In phase 2, the ‘Accounting’ application was added to DNP Concept's internal management system.

During these implementations, Camille was trained in the use of the software, enabling her to improve the company's database and add new applications useful to their management.

And what about today?

Since the arrival of the Odoo and Nalios services, DNP Concept has trained each of its employees in the use of the management software, and they are now all able to use it effectively. Thanks to this collaboration, the company has undergone a remarkable digital transformation, offering numerous benefits. A perfect synergy between systems and employees has been achieved, making it easier for everyone to access and share information. From now on, everyone can obtain or share the data they need, promoting fluid and effective communication within the company. In addition, this transition has led to greater transparency, centralisation of data and optimum traceability, improving stock management.

Finally, thanks to all these advantages, the company can now concentrate fully on projects aimed at developing its business and increasing its profitability.
