The problem
This integrator specialising in automation, IT and industrial electricity in Wallonia was already using Odoo version 10, with some specific developments carried out by a partner. These developments were very useful on a day-to-day basis, but made migrating their system complicated and costly. The company didn't want to get rid of the Odoo solutions, but wanted to find a less cumbersome system that met its needs just as well.

Carrying out an audit
The company in question had specific needs in terms of project management, sales, invoice tracking, etc. And it needed to be guaranteed that it would retain all the functionality that had been developed specifically for it, but in a more standard version of Odoo's products. Setting up the new system
Revisiting its Odoo management system was not an easy decision for the company to make, as it was synonymous with a challenge and represented the fear of losing its assets. In the end, the company opted for the standard version of the From Scratch solution. This meant that it could continue with its usual management, but in a simplified way.
And what about today?
In just a few months, all the new Odoo applications have been implemented. Sales, invoicing, project management, timesheets, holiday management: the company is still running entirely on Odoo, but has gained in efficiency because its system has been completely adapted to its needs, thanks in particular to a number of improvements in reporting.
