Eco-dec is an innovative company specializing in the manufacture of solvent regenerators. Their goal is to provide solutions that enable industrial companies to recycle used solvents, reducing their consumption of new solvents and minimizing their environmental impact. Through its machines, Eco-dec allows its clients to transform dirty solvents into clean solvents, thereby promoting a circular economy while making significant savings and reducing their ecological footprint.
A necessary digital transformation
The company, taken over in 2020 by Jérôme and his partner, was in a situation where much of the management was still done manually, particularly using tools like Excel for tracking schedules and accounting. Facing these limitations, Eco-dec decided to modernize its approach by adopting a more comprehensive and flexible ERP.
Jérôme explains: "We started with an accounting-only program, but soon we saw the value of Odoo to go beyond simple accounting."
Why Odoo ?
The choice of Odoo quickly became obvious for Eco-dec. This ERP system provided a solution that was both more comprehensive and more intuitive than the accounting tool previously used. Jérôme explains: "From an accounting perspective, Odoo was much more complete and gave us a better view of the financial situation. It was also much easier to use."
Beyond accounting, the company deployed other Odoo modules, including for sales management, inventory management, and quote tracking. "The sales application helped us a lot in centralizing our quotes and saving time in their formalization."
A smooth transition and rapid adoption
The transition to an ERP is often a challenge, but for Eco-dec, the shift was made easier by the simplicity and intuitiveness of Odoo. Jérôme adds: "Even for older employees, getting started with Odoo was quick. The interface is simple and clear, which made adoption within the team easier."
Today, Odoo is used by all members of the company, each in their specific area, whether in charge of sales, technical tasks, or inventory management. "Each profile uses Odoo in their own way, and access to information is made easier. For example, when a colleague is on vacation, the person taking over can quickly check the history of exchanges related to a quote."

Since the implementation of Odoo, Eco-dec has benefited from several significant improvements:
- Centralization of information : All information is now centralized in a single system, making it easier to track quotes, orders, and inventory.
- Better inventory management : Thanks to minimum stock alerts, Eco-dec can anticipate restocking and better manage machine production.

Jérôme says : "Odoo has helped us structure our internal processes. We now have complete visibility, which saves us time and allows us to optimize our management."
