The problem
This specialist Walloon company is a family-run business founded in 1963. Specialising in the creation of cold emulsified sauces, the company is currently in its 4th generation. Colona was growing and needed a solution that would enable it to centralise all the information it needed internally, rather than wasting time juggling different management tools.
Thibault Colon, Colona's CEO, wanted an ERP solution that was Belgian and easy to use.
Another of his requests was to go through an integrator with whom he could facilitate exchanges, train himself and his employees.
The Odoo solution implemented by Nalios
An integrated solution
In order to continue to grow, the company needed a solution that was 100% tailored to its needs. That's why Nalios began the project with a GAP analysis, taking into account each of the company's internal processes and needs. Being a production company, it was obvious that the company would need a system covering all production management, stock management, raw material purchasing and sales management. The company also had a real need to manage its accounts. Nalios therefore implemented a complete accounting programme.
A phased implementation
In order not to disrupt any of the services offered by the company, Nalios decided to phase in the implementation of the systems. The Colona project was phased in three parts: the first comprising the most significant applications, such as production, stock management, purchasing, etc., the second involving the implementation of the accounting system, and the last to enable further improvement and development of the software.
And what about today?
The arrival of Odoo services within the company has enabled them, above all, to centralise all their information on a single piece of software. They also have access to a dashboarding tool that gives them a very global overview of what's going on in the company. Implementing Odoo has enabled the company to evolve even faster and to focus on tasks with real added value instead of wasting time switching from one software package to another to carry out repetitive tasks.
Today, Colona is a "Full Odoo" company.
