The problem
Broptimize, a company based in Waremme, specialises in energy transition. The fast-growing company has a huge number of different businesses and departments and was increasingly finding it necessary to centralise all its information and processes in a single software package.
That's why they turned to an initial Odoo integrator several years ago and began this digitisation project in V14..
Unfortunately, the first solution proposed involved a great deal, if not too much, of development, which quickly became a problem.
It was then through Thibault Colon, the CEO of Colona, that Broptimize got in touch with Nalios and the adventure continued.
The Odoo solution implemented by Nalios
A standardised solution
To support the growth of the Liège-based start-up, Nalios took over the project in March 2022 and proposed the solution best suited to the company's needs.
The first step was to clean up the exciting database by halving the original 5,000 lines of code to 2,500.
By standardising its software, Broptimize has been able to gain in efficiency thanks to this new simplicity of code, particularly in the "Contacts" application, which now meets the company's real needs.
This standardisation has also helped to simplify the various internal processes and to better link the applications that have been added subsequently, and consequently to link the various departments that are now entirely managed on Odoo.
Implementation in several phases
As you can see, Nalios chose to move forward with this project in phases. After this clean-up, the applications used for stock management, project management and above all the accounting application were added and configured in the database.
A few months after taking over this project, Nalios successfully migrated the Broptimize database from version 14 to version 16.
Since then, the start-up, which has more than 75 employees and is continuing to grow, has continued to develop its Odoo applications to meet an ever-increasing number of needs.
Most recently, the company has been working on its marketing applications. The website, for its part, is undergoing a complete overhaul, with, as always, the support of our experts.
And what about today?
The arrival of Odoo and Nalios services has enabled Broptimize to move towards digitisation, but above all to centralise all its information in a single software package. With their management software reviewed and improved, they quickly overhauled their internal operations by adapting their various workflows and optimising their different actions.
Today, Broptimize is a "Full Odoo" company..
